A WARM FAMILY HOME

WITH A FARMHOUSE FLAIR.

K and J had lived in their previous Inglewood home for years, and knew with certainty that they didn’t want to leave the neighborhood. But they had outgrown it, and wanted to build something in the neighborhood that better suited their family’s needs.

The vision was clear from the start: something cozy, warm, and welcoming, with lots of natural light and lots of storage (something that was seriously lacking in their last home).

Not wanting anything too sleek and contemporary, we incorporated a warm-toned hardwood floor and off-white walls and cabinetry. Patterned tiles, natural stone, and black accents tie in throughout the home, with custom black metal doors in the foyer to set the stage.

A large master suite, including walk-in closet, fireplace, reading nook, and en suite, meant K and J could have a retreat of their own, while the kids had their choice of their own bedroom suites or the basement media/games area — and an open kitchen, dining, and living room meant they could host friends and family while enjoying the south sunlight and backyard patio. In this house, there is a (sunny) space for everyone.
