Pre-renovation, this home was really something — an incredibly traditional, detailed, and Tuscan-inspired home, all the way down to the backsplash with handpainted grapes. And while likely perfect for the previous owners, our clients knew that this was definitely not their style.

Besides the columns and crystals, the main floor also felt incredibly dark — it was closed off so the light couldn’t make it through, the skylights were tucked away high into the ceiling, and the dark red hardwood zapped all remaining brightness.

Not only did we remove all interior walls on the main floor, we took it a step further and vaulted the entire ceiling. Now, with this amazing ceiling, new flooring, new windows/doors, and a brand new kitchen, you’d never believe this used to be something straight out of the Italian countryside.
